Wild Roots Village is a licensed, play-based program for children ages 2.5 to 5. Inspired by the insights of Rudolf Steiner and the principles of Waldorf education, we nurture the whole child—body, mind, and spirit—through meaningful, imaginative play and deep connection with nature.
With a small group of just six children, we create a warm, homelike space where little ones feel safe, seen, and supported. Our days are filled with storytelling, songs, painting, cooking, movement, nature walks, and open-ended play. These gentle rhythms help children develop social skills, emotional intelligence, and a deep sense of wonder and gratitude.
In our mixed-age setting, children learn through friendship, cooperation, and joyful exploration. We follow the flow of the seasons, celebrating festivals and traditions as a close-knit community, weaving beauty and meaning into each day.
Here at Wild Roots Village the rhythm of the day carries us as we spend most of our time outside playing, we come in to share a healthy organic snack together, we play with all natural and open ended toys to allow for the development of the imagination and love to make things with our hands. We cherish each season with songs, crafts, and circle activities.
Daily Rhythm: Monday & Wednesday or Tuesday &Thursday 9am-1pm
Although the times are listed we always adjust for weather, the needs of the child, or pure joy of being engaged in what we are doing.

- Tuesday: Bread with butter/honey, apples, pumpkin seeds
- Wednesday: Homemade granola with Yogurt & blueberries
- Thursday: Oatmeal with maple syrup & walnuts
