Curriculum

At Wild Roots Village, academic work begins when a child is developmentally ready, guided by a loving authority as their imaginative capacities are just blossoming. The curriculum is presented in an engaging manner, addressing the children’s growing capacities physically, emotionally, spiritually, and academically.

Inspired by Rudolf Steiner’s vision of human development and the Waldorf curriculum, Wild Roots Village incorporates traditional academic subjects such as reading, writing, and math, enriched with art and experiential opportunities. We also offer specialty subjects including music, handwork, and cooperative games. Each day begins with Main Lesson, covering the core curriculum listed below.
